The Milton Public Library

Community Garden Project

“Growing roots in our community, one seed at a time”

Would you like to be a part of Milton’s green revolution? Green Milton is starting a community garden at the Milton Public Library to bring our community together, to educate, to grow, to feed!

We are seeking a holistic approach to sustainable and creative revitalization of Milton and its downtown. We want to combine art, sustainability, Eco-consciousness and community activism to instigate the transformation of Milton into a unique and vibrant town that will benefit the community in multiple ways. Ultimately, we want to encourage people to be engaged participants in their community.

Get Involved

There are many ways that each individual can play a role in this community garden.

  • Do you own a business or extra supplies? We are looking for sponsors to donate materials and tools.
  • Do you have an interest in gardening? There are rental spots available in the garden.
  • Are you part of a corporation or organization? Green Milton is looking for partners to start this revolution!
  • Are you willing to volunteer your time and get your hands dirty?! We can never have too many people to set up and maintain the community garden.

If any of these opportunities caught your attention and you would like more information, please contact us via phone at 570-291-8780 or by email at greenmiltonpa@gmail.com.
