“Growing roots in our community, one seed at a time”
Would you like to be a part of Milton’s green revolution? The goal of our community garden at the Milton Public Library is to bring our community together, to educate, to grow, to feed!
We are seeking a holistic approach to sustainable and creative revitalization of Milton and its downtown. We want to combine art, sustainability, Eco-consciousness and community activism to instigate the transformation of Milton into a unique and vibrant town that will benefit the community in multiple ways. Ultimately, we want to encourage people to be engaged participants in their community.
Get Involved
There are many ways that each individual can play a role in this community garden. Plot applications are available at the library – grab one before they’re gone!
- Do you own a business or extra supplies? We are looking for sponsors to donate materials and tools.
- Do you have an interest in gardening? There are rental spots available in the garden.
- Are you part of a corporation or organization? The library is looking for partners to continue this revolution!
- Are you willing to volunteer your time and get your hands dirty?! We can never have too many people to set up and maintain the community garden.
If any of these opportunities caught your attention and you would like more information, please contact us via phone at 570-742-7111 or by email at director@miltonpalibrary.org.
